Location: I-95 Exit 119, Manning, South Carolina
My family and I where traveling to Florida and stopped at the Manning Shoney’s exit 119. This Restaurant was quite different than most Shoney’s restaurants we have visited. It was modern, and had one of the friendliest staffs we have ever encountered. The selection of food from the buffet was outstanding and menu food was also available. The management of this store deserves high praise. All aspects of our dinning experience were outstanding.

I will be traveling from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Myrtle Beach on I-95. I have been to Shoney’s before in Virginia. The food was fantastic. I have never eaten at a better buffet!
My husband and I stopped at this Shoney’s in Manning for lunch on our last trip from Florida back to Virginia. I was surprised and delighted to find collard greens, blackeyed peas and cornbread on the hot lunch buffet. Usually we don’t stop at chain restaurants but I am glad we found this unique offerring of some of my favorite foods.
Andy, I just visited the Shoney’s in Manning and I saw a grade of C on the entrance. I asked for a copy of the report and was told they yur eployees did not have access to it. I am a former state employee (environmental Health Manager) and I teach part time for Georgia TECH. and Central Carolina OSHA Compliance and Standards for General Industry and Construction. I offered my services for free or maybe a few gifts certificates, I guess I must have made the night manager mad as she was not very nice. By the way I go to manning at least ten to fifteen times a week between myself and amy wife and most of the time we run into
Shoney’s and get my father in law food. Maybe if employyes are rude and the big C on the door stays well you tell me. I look Shoney’s up on SCDHEC and two inspection in January 2009 as followups whats up with this?
