		<description>My mother was from Roanoke Rapids, NC so I grew up eating at Ralph&#039;s (about 50 years ago). With this admitted bias, I believe Ralph&#039;s is the BEST for minced and pulled eastern NC BBQ (you must add the slaw too), fried chicken, brunswick stew, etc. We try to stop at Ralph&#039;s each time we go south--it made my wife (formerly of PA) and northern VA kids big fans.

Being just off 95, the parking lot generally has a number of out-of-state cars, but there are always more NC tags -- more locals than travelers.  That&#039;s &#039;cause it&#039;s so good.</description>
