You will miss one of the best North Carolina BBQ places if you don’t get off Exit 107 (Kinley-Wilson) and travel east two blocks to Moore BBQ (on your right) for lunch, dinner or take home a pound or two in your cooler. This restaurant has the best shredded Pork BBQ and BBQ chicken in North Carolina and if you’re lucky they’ll have their delicious Collard Greens, too. If the Collards aren’t in season, try their cabbage as it is equally as good. Great cole slaw, and hot delicious hush puppies served with every dish!. They are closed on Sunday and Monday!

Is this the place that’s a little run down looking? My family stopped at a little hole in the wall place just off I-95 about seven years ago and had the best pulled pork and hush puppies ever. The hush puppies were long not round and they cooked the pork outside and passed it through a window. I hope this is the place because we will be driving back up there in two weeks.
My wife and I stopped at Moore BBQ and the food was great. The hush puppies were great and people very nice. It was a great change from the normal I95 food. It was not dirty nor was it sparkling clean. I will definitely go back !!
Moore’s moved to a new location closer to 95. Its near a Ford dealership. You can’t miss it if you look for the sign.
