This Golden Corral is located right across the road from the Carolina Premium Outlet Mall. It is the best Golden Corral restaurant that we have ever eaten at. The restaurant is impeccably clean with a wonderful selection of food. Everything was fresh and delicious.

We recommend it to all I-95 travelers!

Abner’s Drive-In – Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

The building literally looks like it is about to fall down and the drive-in menu is hand lettered.

The food was great and cheap. I think it is only open from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM with breakfast served until 11:00 AM. It’s the real thing with a huge pork BBQ sandwich, side and tea for under $4.00. Most dinners are under $6.00 with over 15 choices on vegetables. I wanted to try a bologna burger or fatback and grits but was a little leary.

Stop by for a cultural experience. It’s next to a McDonalds but the Abner’s sign has fallen down so just check your GPS.
